Welcome!

A bit about myself...
Originaly my web space was dedicated to Muzik Non Stop! my mobile DJ service. This space was where I would upload my weekly charts for the industry to peek at and as a member of the Bay Area Dance DJ Association I had to report on all promo's that I would receive. As you can imagine by the time I was finished previewing music, combing record stores for more, playing my gig's, plus all the regular life stuff... like a real job and family I would have no time for MOUNTAIN BIKING!
That was okay then since all I had was an ancient Specialized Hard Rock that I played around on,
BUT WAIT!
here comes Mr. Glen Ito (a workmate at my day job) with a brandy-shiny new Trek MTB and a Guide To Mountain Biking In Northern California.
I was a DJ for 10 years (still am... kinda) but before that I raced BMX bikes so it was only a matter of time before I would hear the "Call Of The Dirt" once again and I did...
LOUD & CLEAR!
As the story goes on... and on... the first year (1995) Glen, Greg "OG" (Original Goombah) Lawson and I would put in major miles on Glen's truck and our bikes. Towards the end of the year I upgraded to a non-suspended cromo Specialized Rockhopper with Alivio components. In about 8 months I managed to wear out and replace enough of the original $400.00 bike so now it's a $1,000.00 bike. After a couple Danny "Magoo" Chandler MTB races at the end of '95, The '96 season opener in Cool, CA, Arizona Cactus Cup, Sea Otter Classic and three smaller races I decided it was time to upgrade again.
Phil who sold me my Rockhopper "saw me comming", he pulled out a Cannondale F700 frame with a DD50 Headshok and gave me his usual sales pitch, "I Would Realy Like To See You On This", so I bought it!
A couple months and a few high-end chi chi purchases later I assembled my new ride (see "My Bike" on the main page) but was to broke to race it, to bad since I was probaly in the best shape of my life, 200 miles a week will do that to a person.
So anyways like I was saying this page is no longer about Muzik Non Stop!, it's now about my renewed love for bikes so as time goes by and I do fewer gig's I may even sell some of my equipment and records to make room for more bike related items but music is still a part of my life, if I could only get a gig DJing at a bike shop or for the World Cup party scene... now that would work.

This is DJ Rockalot fliping off the switch on the power amp and pushing the on button of my Nightrider saying "if it keeps your bike running... don't give up yer day job"
 -Peace!
